  The Reynolds Building is a 314ft (96m) skyscraper in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It was completed in 1929 and has 21 floors. When completed as the headquarters of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, it was the tallest building in the United States south of Baltimore, Maryland, and it won a national architecture award. The building is well known for being the predecessor and prototype for the much larger Empire State Building that was built in 1931 in New York City.

  Calyon Building (also known as the Crédit Agricole CIB Building or earlier known as the J.C. Penney Building and Crédit Lyonnais Building) is a 609 ft (186m) tall skyscraper located at 1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York City, New York. It was developed by Uris Brothers and was completed in 1964 and has 45 floors. Shreve, Lamb & Harmon Associates designed the building, which is the 87th tallest in New York City. It is named for the Calyon Corporation which resulted from the merger of Crédit Agricole Indosuez and the corporate and investment banking division of the Crédit Lyonnais corporation as a result of the takeover of the latest by Crédit Agricole S.A. in 2002. Calyon was since renamed Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank in 2010.

  3 Park Avenue is an office building located on Park Avenue at 33rd Street in New York City, built in 1976 by Cohen Brothers Realty. The 554-foot-tall (169 m) building was designed in the International Style by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, designers of the Empire State Building, and replaced Clinton & Russell's armory of 1905, built for the New York National Guard's 71st Regiment.

  The Empire State Building is a 102-story landmark skyscraper and American cultural icon in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. It has a roof height of 1,250 feet (381 meters), and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 1,454 ft (443.2 m) high. Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for 40 years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in 1972. Following the destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Empire State Building reclaimed the position of tallest building in New York (although it was no longer the tallest in the world). Once the new One World Trade Center is completed, it will once again be demoted to second tallest building in New York.

  The Deutsche Bank Building was a skyscraper at 130 Liberty Street in New York City, United States, adjacent to the World Trade Center (WTC). Opened in 1974 as Bankers Trust Plaza, the building was acquired by Deutsche Bank when it acquired Bankers Trust in 1998. It was part of the skyline of Lower Manhattan. The Deutsche Bank Building was heavily damaged in the September 11, 2001 attacks after being blasted by the avalanche of debris, ash, dust, and asbestos that spread from the collapse of the South Tower. World Trade Center Tower 5 will eventually replace the building, expanding the ground space on which the World Trade Center stands, as this land was not part of the original World Trade Center.
