  The United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel, completed in 1962, is the distinguishing feature of the Cadet Area at the United States Air Force Academy. It was designed by renowned architect Walter Netsch of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago. Construction was accomplished by Robert E. McKee, Inc., of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Originally controversial in its design, the Cadet Chapel has become a classic and highly regarded example of modernist architecture. The Cadet Chapel was awarded the American Institute of Architects' National Twenty-five Year Award in 1996 and, as part of the Cadet Area, was named a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 2004.

  Shaklee Terraces also known as One Front Street is an office skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The 164 m (538 ft) 38 floor, tower was completed in 1979. The composition of the façade closely resembles that of the Shell Building by Emil Fahrenkamp, which was built in Berlin in 1931. The Shaklee Corporation was once headquartered in the tower until the company moved to Pleasanton, California in 2000. In 1999-2001 Scient Corporation, a dot-com era consulting firm, had its head office on the upper floors of the building, prior to its move to Market Street.

    One City Centre is a 410 ft (125 m) tall skyscraper in Houston, Texas, USA, made from glass, steel, and concrete It was completed in 1960. It has 32 floors and is the 41st tallest building in the city. Originally called the First City National Bank Building, One City Centre is the first high modern office building built in downtown Houston. Along the parking garage a message sign made of hundreds of lights flashes animations to coordinate with the evening shows of water and light along the Main Street Square fountain and light rail area.

  One Maritime Plaza is an office tower located in San Francisco's Financial District near the Embarcadero Center towers on Clay and Front Streets. The building, completed in 1964, stands 121 m (398 feet) and has 25 floors of office space. This is one of the earliest buildings to use seismic bracing in the form of external trusses and X-braces.

  Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel is a high-rise building in San Diego composed of two towers. The towers are the third and seventh tallest buildings in the city. Developed but no longer owned by the controversial San Diego developer, Doug Manchester, the tower is the tallest building on the waterfront on the West Coast, and with 1,625 rooms, it is Southern California's largest hotel. Because of its proximity to the waterfront, as well as its amenities, the Manchester Grand Hyatt is referred to as a spa and resort.

  Al Rajhi Tower is a $500 million USD tower currently proposed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Designs for the sail-shaped tower have been drawn up by architects at Atkins. The tower is being built on behalf of the Al Rajhi family and will be used for commercial purposes. The family, considered by most in Saudi Arabia, as the country's wealthiest non-royals, is among the world's leading philanthropists.
